They're finally here, guys! The eggs have hatched and now we have a bunch of adorable baby quails! • Quails are amazing birds. Did you know that quails were the first living beings from Earth to be born in space? But, actually, quails only fly short distances and prefer staying on the ground instead. • In order to grow baby quails into healthy birds, you need to take good care of them and provide them with clean fresh water, special food, and special light, too! It is easy to make a feeder for baby birds yourself. You'll just need a big plastic bottle. Cut it in half, then cut several holes along the bottom and insert one part into the other. Fill it with bird food and voila! Baby birds will have easy access to food whenever they need it. As for the water, we've bought a special drinking bowl for them! Watch the video to check it out. I think they like it. To make our quails even more comfortable, Sue's made them a warm source of light, with a large glass jar and an ordinary bulb. It's so cozy to watch them sleeping around it... • We really hope to see our baby birds grow into beautiful quails! We're giving them as much attention and care as we can.
