Cheeseburger Stuffed Pretzel Using My Soft Pretzel Recipe

I'm giving you both with and bringing them together for the best cheeseburger and soft pretzel combination you'll ever eat! • • #pretzels #burgers #softpretzels • Ingredients • 8 Cups - All Purpose Flour • 2 2/3 Cups - Warm Water • 6 1/2 Tablespoons - Butter (Room Temperature) • 5 tsp - Rapid Rise Yeast • 4 Tablespoons - Sugar • 3 tsp - Kosher Salt • 4 Tablespoons - Dark German Beer, Brown Ale, or Rootbeer • Lye Solution. Or if you scared baking soda solution. If you not too scared, concentrated baking soda solution. But really a lye solution is best. • Instructions • In a large bowl, put half the flour in. Push the flour to the sides of the bowl and create a cup in the middle. • Place 1 1/3 cups of warm water in the cup shape in the flour. • Add yeast, sugar, and room temperature beer to the middle of the bowl. • Mix liquid around thoroughly. Try not to get too much flour from the sides in there. • Pour salt over the flour on the edge of the bowl, careful not to get it in the liquid. • Start mixing everything around all crazy like. • Add butter, remaining flour, and 1 1/3 cup warm water. • Kneed by hand for 10 minutes until a giant sticky ball forms. Or use a dough hook. The goal here is a giant sticky ball that pulls all the flour away from the edge of the bowl. However, not too sticky. You want it to start to tear away just a little bit when you try to stretch it. • Place dough ball in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth. Keep in a warm place and let dough ball double in size. About 30 to 40 minutes. • Divide dough in to 4 balls. • Roll each dough ball out on a floured surface in to sort of a trapezoid shape. • Layer up some stuffings. I used Canadian bacon and smoked cheddar cheese. • Roll that thing up like a burrito and repeat for the other dough balls. • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. • While the oven is heating up, coat those pretzel burritos in a nice layer of lye solution. Make sure you mix your solution properly cause that stuff is deadly if you don't know what you are doing. Any leftover solution pour down a clogged drain in your house cause it will clean it out. • Cook for 25 minutes or until dark brown. A good lye solution will create a darker look. My solution was a little weak so my pretzel was not real dark. • Now sprinkle some nice course salt on.
