entrevista Agnetha Fältskog con Lotta Bromé 17 September 2009 - Agnetha in interview with Lotta Bromé - Agnetha Fältskog intervjuas av Lotta Bromé • TRANSLATION • The song became a big hit on Kvällstoppen , the first number one song for Agnetha. But you wrote your first song, Två Små Troll , when you were six, didn't you, Agnetha? • AF: Yes, I did, or maybe I was five, anyway it was at an early age. • LB: A big and warm welcome to P4 Extra! • AF: Thank you so much. • LB: How did it sound, that song Två Små Troll ? • AF: Hmm, how did it go... (sings) Två små troll träffades en dag. Två små troll lekte med varann. Something like that. There wasn't much more, so it was a short song. • LB: Did you play piano while composing it or was it just a capella? • AF: It was always with the piano from the beginning when I realised that I could make melodies on the piano and I started very, very early with that. So you could say that I was autodidactic (self-taught) in the beginning. It was much later on I started to take lessons. • LB: Wasn't it in your father's shows you made your debut? • AF: My father was what you would call a variety show king in Småland. He had his own dancers. He played the guitar, sang and wrote folk ballads, mainly he wrote lyrics so I think I have inherited that part from him. • LB: Was he funny in the variety shows? • AF: He was very funny as a person, I never saw those variety shows, they happened before I was born. • LB: Would you have liked to have seen them? • AF: Definitely. That would have been wonderful. I have seen photographs from that time. Later on I took part in variety shows myself together with some other girls. • LB: Which was your first variety show? • AF: It was mainly small productions in Småland, so we didn't have to travel far (laughs). It was all on a very small scale. • LB: What happened to your Småländska dialect, where did it go? • AF: Yes, it has disappeared. I recently counted how many years I have lived in Stockholm and it turned out it was several more years than I lived in Jönköping. I moved away from Jönköping when I was eighteen. So it (the dialect) just disappeared on the way. It's nothing I have worked on to get rid of. • LB: (with a Småländsk accent) But surely you can still speak småländska if needed? • AF: (also with a Småländsk accent) Yes, I still can speak småländska, but I have to strain myself to do it. (in her normal voice) It comes very easily when I talk to my sister for example. • LB: It's the same with me and västgötskan, it just comes when I'm talking with anyone from Skövde. You were thirteen years old when you started your first group, what kind of music did you perform? • AF: You are thinking of the girls I played with? Yes, it was my own songs, we performed them at parties, it was in a very small way. But then I started more seriously when I started singing with a dance band, but then I was fifteen. • LB: Frida told me that there were age limits back then regarding how young you were allowed to be to sing in a band. But she lied about her age. • AF: Maybe there were limits like that, maybe you had to be fifteen or something like that. • LB: So you had the right age at least. • AF: (laughing) Apparantly. But it was, when I think back now, how it was for my mother and father felt about it. A bit worrying I can imagine. • LB: Were they worried when you went on tour? • AF: Yes they were, because we toured a whole lot even back then. In a bus, you know, and it was late at night and we arrived back home early the next morning., so naturally they were worried. • LB: We started this conversation talking about how you started writing songs on your piano at the age of five. Do you have any idea about how many songs you have written? • AF: No, I really don't. But it was a lot of songs. My most creative period was between twenty and thirtyfive. And especially during the years when we were working with ABBA. I was working double in the sense that I was doing some solo productions during that time. And I also made the two albums with my children, one Christmas CD and one children's CD. One with Linda and one with Christian. • read more • POST: http://abbaregistro.blogspot.com/2009... • • ------------------------------------ • ------------------------ • Happy Birthday Agnetha Fältskog!! 5 APRIL 2010 - the magic of Agnetha´s voice • • Happy Birthday Agnetha Fältskog!! ... • ------------------------------ • ABBA Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Induction 15032010 • • ABBA 15032010 Rock And Roll Hall Of F... • better edicion • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmXkUH...
