The United States Public Health Service (USPHS) Informational Video was created in order to advance the public’s awareness of the Commissioned Corps and facilitate introductory discussions about the Service to general audiences. This short film provides a historical background of the creation of the USPHS, the eventual establishment of the Commissioned Corps, and the overall mission of the Service as it exists today.
