I've been very busy with my job these past few months and just haven't had much free time to do some recording. Last night though I did have some time and I was in the mood to play so I decided to record some songs. First up is Hey Joe by Jimi Hendrix. • This is one of the first songs I ever learned how to play and its still one of my favorites. My solo could be better but oh well, its all recorded live in just one take so it is what it is. • About this recording, I'm using a Line 6 Pocket Pod here and not my regular amp. I'm recording this with a Kodak Zi8 and using the mic input on the camera so the audio you're hearing is coming directly from the Pocket Pod. Sorry about some of the hiss, the cables I have to connect the Pocket Pod to the camera aren't fantastic but once the music starts I don't think its noticeable. • The backing track can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/248dkmk
