Particularly characters in the Prime family. We bore witness to this detail when Optimus Prime died after his lethal fight with Megatron. And we would see history repeat itself when Orion Pax lost his color after being killed by D-16 in Transformers One. It was definitely an awesome reference that fans of the original series seemed to appreciate. But there was 1 key detail that you probably didn't notice. Despite Transformers One being a solid adaptation of the stories we've seen in the past. It does take a few creative liberties to differentiate itself from its predecessors. Such as Zeta being the leader of the Primes instead of Prima. Speaking of Primes it seems that Primes of the original 13 don't lose their color after dying. Unlike normal robots like Orion Pax who lost his color. And Sentinel who was revealed to be a fake Prime.
