I'm Michael with each trailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this Come Up seal gen two off-road winch. This is a premium recovery winch. That's going to allow you to pull your struck vehicles up steep inclines like a ditch. It's going to help pull you out of mud water or snow. • • Now, my first impression of this winch is it is extremely heavy duty. I consider myself a very strong individual. I even, I have a really hard time lifting this winch up. So it is going to be a beast. It's about 140 pounds So it is going to be very heavy duty are really great for your larger vehicles, your work trucks, your Jeeps, other off-road vehicles with a max gross vehicle, weight rating of 13,400 pounds. • • So this is going to be very heavy duty. It does have a straight line pull of 20,000 pounds max, and that's with the single strand of rope wrapped around it. So that's going to do your max. So it is going to be great for those larger vehicles One of the really nice things about this winch is it's going to be waterproof. It's got an IP rating of six, eight, thanks to the sealed motor gearbox drum housing power unit and contactor. • • It is going to have the IP rating of six eight, which means it's going to be fully functional when you have it completely submerged and up to three feet of water. So if you are out working in the water, the mud and that sort of thing, it's still going to be working for you, which really is when you're going to need it the most. I imagine so with a, which the main things are going to be strength and speed, getting you up out of there as quickly as possible getting you on that solid ground. So you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors or back to the job site So this does have a seven horsepower series wound motor. That's going to deliver a nice, powerful, fast and safe lining pole. • • It's going to be more powerful and more efficient and more torque than a permanent magnet motor. It's got an all steel three-stage planetary gear train The gear ratio is 3 43 to one So that's going to be a better drum speed than your worm drives and your one or two stage planetary gear trains now for the duty cycle. And it is going to be about 44 seconds on and 14 minutes off to let it cool down but it does have an automatic mechanical cone brake. That's going to hold 100% of the load and minimize your winch creep. So even if you have to stop to let it cool down for a little bit you're not going to lose any of that progress that you've made. The cone shaped brake is mounted outside the drum to help keep it from damaging your, your motor or nine 16th inch diameter synthetic rope. So this rope is a DYNEEMAR SK 75 construction. So it is going to be extremely strong. It's as strong as steel but it is much lighter weight in safer to handle. You're not gonna have to worry about wearing gloves like you would with a steel cable, because this is going to be very safe for you. You're going to get 55 feet of this synthetic rope to work with So that should be plenty for you to get attached to a treaty or a whatever you need to get yourself. Unstuck. You are also going to get this forge steel hook with the nylon hand saver strap included still very easy to get hooked up. So if you have a nice stable connection to pull yourself up out of the mud or wherever it is that you're stuck, this is also going to have this heavy duty cast aluminum Hawse fairlead with this rounded fairlead hole that helps prevent any friction damage to the rope. You can see it does have this black anodized finish to help resist corrosion. So last for you, you're also going to have the free spooling clutch. That's going to allow you to disengage the clutch so that he can pull out your rope to the length that you need and the re-engage it. So that you're going to have less aware on your engine and motor, and the gearbox can be rotated 90 degrees in, in 90 degree increments so that you can always get the rich, the clutch handle. There, no matter how you have this mounted are, this does also have a plastic handheld remote with 17 foot lead there that will attach right up in the top so that you've got plenty of room to stand back allow the winch to do its thing from a safe distance very easy operation.
