Victor Hugo station of the Paris métro line 2. RATP MF01 trains. The bust of the poet Victor Hugo presides over one of the most unique stations of the Parisian metro, as from the platforms, one can appreciate the original station from 1900, which was built on a sharp curve and was closed in 1931 to make way for the current station, constructed on a straight section. Since the new station is right next to the old one, they were able to utilize the original entrances.
