This is the animated book summary of Bigger Leaner Stronger, by Michael Matthews. When I started my fitness journey, this was one of the first books that I read and it provided me with great basic knowledge of fitness. The book taught me principles like progressive overload, how and why I needed to count my calories and debunked many myths. • There are many myths that people fall for in the fitness world. Personally, I shoved protein powder down my throat just because it was protein powder and it was required to build muscle. I bought supplements after supplements being promised that I would get results after I used them. I sometimes even starved myself and did hours of cardio just to lose weight. Yet, nothing happened and my body stayed the same.
