We use meadowsweet in our Organic Arnica Meadowsweet Salve http://bit.ly/P6Oxwf and also in our herbal digestif Best British Bitters http://bit.ly/Pon9nR It has a wide range of uses from digestion to joints, and is widely used as a food. The plant contains salicylic acid which is what aspirin was synthesised from. Historically it was used to flavour mead and Monica shows you how to make Meadowsweet Cordial, similar in taste to Elderflower Cordial. Meadowsweet's botanical name is Filipendula ulmaria (originally Spiraea ulmaria).
