1926 Rolls Royce Phantom restoration from start to finish. • In June 2024 Metalwork Dreams bought a 1926 Rolls Royce Phantom 1 that was basically a barn find. It has no body and is needs a lot of work other than just making the body and putting it on. • In 1926 John McCandish, a London club owner, bought a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom 1 from the Pass Joyce dealership in the capital. The car had been converted from the Rolls Royce chassis, to a laudalette by Park Ward (Coach builders). • We're unsure at this point, what years John sold the car but, we do know after his death in Sept 1947 the car was sold and was rebodied as a hearse. As a funeral car, it was used in the West Country, it was then sold in 1959 to a lady in the home counties. The car was resold again in 1973 to a gentlemen who started the basics or restoring the car, removed the body and then sadly the car was never completed, sat in his garage for 50 year until it was sold in June 2024 to a dealer. • Martin bought the car as no more than a rolling chassis project and decided to film his restoration journey along the way. • Come along for the ride on Martin's journey by subscribing to the channel. • We're videos documenting the journey, so please like and subscribe to the channel and follow the progress. • Hope you enjoy.
