Celebrating Ceramics showcases the wonderful creativity and skill of participants, and artist pass holders who created work at MAC during 2023. • The show demonstrates the incredible versatility and beauty of clay, from coil pots and hand-built vessels, to inlaid porcelain, wheel-thrown ceramics and sculptural forms, decorated with coloured slips, oxide glazes or inlays. • The work was created in our world-class ceramics studios, made possible by the generous support of the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) and Arts Council England in 2020. • A heartfelt thanks to our artist tutors, Andrea Clarke, Emily-Kriste Wilcox, Libby Gillies, Martin McNally, Mike Martin, Ronnie Diggins, Serge Sanghera, and Sue Dyer. • Selected works from the exhibition are available for sale, please enquire in-person at MAC's Welcome Desk. • Kindly supported by Arts Council England and players of People's Postcode Lottery. • https://macbirmingham.co.uk/exhibitio... • - • First opened in 1962, Midlands Arts Centre – also known as MAC – is a pioneering arts complex for everyone.
