In today’s video Show Up Fitness teaches you about shoulder anatomy and the pectoralis major, 1 of the 17-muscles of the shoulder. • • ABOUT TODAY’S VIDEO: • The pectoralis major is 1 muscles, with 3 parts: clavicular sternal and costal regions. The Origin of the Pec major is the medial 1/3 of the clavicle sternum. They insert into the lateral lip of the bicipital groove of the humerus. The actions are: Adduction, horizontal adduction, flexion (clavicular head), extension (sternal head) and assist in anterior tilt of the scapula. • The best chest exercises for the chest are consistency and tension (lifting heavy.)
