Trying Food at Blue Zone Restaurants of Ikaria Island Greece

This video shows restaurant food we tried on Ikaria island, Greece. Ikaria is known as a Blue Zone where people live to 100 years and more. We traveled to Ikaria (Icaria) and went to three local restaurants in the village of Magganitis. • While food served there consisted of typical Greek dishes, there were a few unique dishes (horta, kathoura cheese and Ikarian wine). Food in Ikaria's restaurants is mostly seasonal and cooked from ingredients sourced from local farms.
