Antonietta's presence in court was due to her being accused of passing messages to Salvatore Toto Riina (her future husband), and Luciano Leggio, both members of the Corleonesi mafia. • The interview, and Franchese's publicizing the names of the Corleonesi, made him enemies. Enemies one did not want to have while living in Sicily.
