Beets are great for a small space so they're perfect for every garden! You can eat the root as well as the greens. Make sure you're harvesting at the best time. Know someone who doesn't like that beet flavor? Try the golden beet or roasting your veggies to remove some of the earthiness. • Like other root vegetables, be sure to give your beets at least 6 to 12 inches of good, soft soil to grow in.
