I'm Max Dalton, and in this video I'm going to talk through how to move a channel on Roku. • Adding channels to your Roku device is incredibly easy. It's so easy, that before long, you can wind up with a home screen that's so flooded it can become difficult to find a channel that you're looking for. Thankfully, Roku makes it possible to move your added channels around so you can order your based on how frequently you access them, or any other method that works for you. • And now, the steps to move channels on Roku. • Step 1. Press the Home button on your Roku remote control to navigate back to your device's home screen, if you aren't there already. Additionally, you'll notice that Home is selected in the menu on the left side of the screen. • Step 2. Press the right arrow in the directional pad on the remote control to move the on-screen selector into your channel section. You'll notice a white box around the first app in your Roku channel list. • Step 3. Use the directional pad to move the white box around the channel you want to move. • Step 4. Press the * button on the Roku remote control. A dialog box appears on the screen that shows the version and build of that channel. There is also a menu in the lower part of the dialog box giving you options to rate the channel, move the channel, remove the channel, and more. • Step 5. Select Move Channel. The dialog box disappears, and you'll see arrows appear around the edges of the channel. • Step 6. Use the directional pad on your remote control to move the channel around the screen. However, note that you can only move the channel in a direction where there is an arrow pointing. If there is no arrow on the outside of the channel, then you can't move the channel in that direction. • Step 7. Press OK on the Roku remote when you get the channel in the location where you want it. The arrows will disappear, and the channel will officially be relocated to its new location.
