Please find this product at http://absupply.net. • This video is to bring you a closer look at the Hager 736 WHITE Press-on Silicone Weatherstrip Smoke Seal. • Available in different colors (tan, charcoal, white). • Available in several different roll lengths (i.e. 17ft rolls would be appropriate for a 3' x 7' door). • The strip has a tear-drop profile to it. • Self-adhesive tape on the back. • This can be compressed down to a very small dimension. • 3/8 wide, 3/16 not compressed. • Used in applications where a smoke seal is required. • You'll commonly see these on hotel doors. • There is a link below this video to the product info (reference to sister related products), and the installation instructions. • You may find that there is another product that may better suit your application instead of the 736. • Instructions are also packaged with the material. • To begin you'll want to pre-cut the jamb and the header portions (miter if you can). • You do not want to run the material in one continuous run around the frame. • Once you start to remove the tape, do so in small increments. • Hager says to work with about 18 , but that seems like a large amount. • You may unintentionally stick the tape to a portion of the frame and have to peel it back off, this will be a point of failure. • Do not pull or stretch the material when being installed on the door. • The frame must be clean of all debris and dust before installing. • Hager has provided and alcohol wipe. • If there is fresh paint on the door, you must allow one week for full curing. • This is a low cost, easy to install method of weather sealing your door. • Hager is a full-line manufacturer of all things residential and commercial weatherstripping related. • If you have any questions on the Hager 736 WHITE Press-on Silicone Weatherstrip Smoke Seal or any other product by Hager please feel free to reach out to us.
