Although I began very young and have sailed most of my life, most has been done on off the beach dinghies and cats! Big boat sailing/racing was done in harbours and coastal sailing around islands, with land always in sight! • When I first began this adventure in Greece in 2017, it was rather daunting, it took time to build confidence in both myself, and Monastrell! But confidence and trust in each other did grow, and before we knew it, over a period of two and a half years living aboard full time, we crossed the Mediterranean, sailed the Moroccan coast on the way to the Canary islands where we launched from to begin the longest passage to date, the Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean! • After an absence of almost four and a half years, it feels daunting once again, and that almost same process is taking place again! This is a very short passage and the first small step in building confidence in myself and Monastrell once again!
