While some follow their call to sail the seas and meaning of adventure, some raise a family and others caretake their existing one. The individuals known as Beauregard Lionett and Caleb Widogast continue their partnership in justice under the unifying mistrust of authority and need to weed out the shadow that lurks deep within the Cerberus Assembly. Many slippery years later, numerous frustrations colored with a handful of victories leave them ever closer to unraveling the machinations of the assembly's deep, clever, long-scheming leader Martinet Ludinus Da'leth. • In following his plotting, Beau and Caleb found themselves at ground zero of a dangerous event, engineered to tether the red moon Ruidus to Exandria and create a bridge to the entity that slumbers within it, Predathos, the god-eater. Infiltrating the site of Ludinus's plan, these two attempt to stop him with the aid of some unlikely heroes.
