I finally did it. • Way back when my hardest was around Acu, I found out about the demon list. And ever since then I've made it one of my ultimate goals to beat a level from there. • I kept grinding extremes, and my hardest levels went from Cyclone, Bloodbath, Endless Dream, Black Flag, and finally to Wasureta. I could never seem to catch up to the list until I tried Citra, but I never ended up beating it. • I originally started this level because I just absolutely loved how it looked. It was super satisfying to watch and I wanted to go for it almost instantly after seeing it for the first time. And after constantly getting demotivated with Citra I thought I should just give it a try. I already knew that it was going to be quite the race against the clock since it was close to falling off even when I hadn't started it yet. • And with the luckiest occurrence of my GD career, I managed to scrape through and fluke the level when it was #150, the very last spot. The stars aligned and I caught a break at last. My first list demon. • Now on about the level itself: • To start off, there's a lot to unpack, but I will try my best to shorten it. • The predrop kicked my ASS at first. This was probably the only reason why this race was so close. The sheer amount of clicks in the first 11% or so is insane. You have to maintain a decently high cps for most of the beginning and over the course of an hour it gets ROUGH to keep consistency. I always considered myself as a decent cps player but this was the first level to actually make my arm hurt from working it so much. Not only that, but the timings in this section are also some of the hardest in the whole level. • A big reason why it was hard to keep motivation was because of the click at 25%. I would spend so much time and effort to get past the first 24% only to die to this click hundreds of times. It is probably the tightest click in the level AND its almost completely blind. • I had a lot of trouble with the dual ship at like 32, but with enough practice it didn't become that big of a chokepoint. • The drop requires some crazy reaction time since the wave portals are not rotated. You have to practice it sooo much to get used to predicting where the wave will end up. Its VERY inconsistent. I got stuck here for a long time before my first break through. • The only bad parts past the drop are 75% and 85%. The 75 wave is a horrendous chokepoint since you have to do a tight wave spam while your icon is INVISIBLE and while your screen is black. I expected to die here probably a dozen times but I was blessed and died past 57 ONCE. Similar to 75, the spike at 85 is completely invisible and it stupidly hard to know when to time the jump. • I simply can not explain just how lucky I got on this. My session started off with me getting 25-91% 5 minuets in, then literally 20 attempts later beating the whole level when my best of the session was 9%. Unbelievable luck. I fluked some very hard parts that I found hard at the end. • Overall the level was kinda disappointing to me but that might just be because I had high expectations. Its just way too unbalanced and the chokepoints are really hard to tolerate. Its still really good though and I would recommend this if you like high cps click sync. • Level rating: 64/100 • -25 for balancing/chokepoints • -11 for gameplay polish/effects • Level enjoyment: 55/100 • Attempts: 15,758 • Latest deaths: 57x2, 75% • In Game Rate - Extreme Demon • Difficulty opinion: Little easier than Citra • Recommended? Yes
