I am building a new camper for our 4x4 camping truck / overland vehicle. This is the DIY build plan and a little insight as to how we arrived at this plan. After traveling full-time in our last DIY camper for 1.5 years, we have decided we want a better foul weather living space. Our goal is to build an insulated camper with an indoor kitchen and toilet without exceeding the stock length, width or GVWR of our midsized Toyota T100 pickup truck. We'll need living space for 2 people and 2 dogs and storage space for all our gear and toys.
