You’ve probably heard me refer to the book of Jude as the Acts of the Apostates. Apostasy is turning away from Christ by leaning on the rationale of worldly philosophy and personal preference. After going back to the Old Testament and citing examples of apostasy from Jewish history, Jude sums up the current crisis in the church and says that even Jesus’ apostles predicted it would happen.
