In my experience, not all sprint drills directly translate to amazing sprint mechanics because the essential ingredient of force application to the ground is often eliminated or ignored. • • While many of these exercises provide opportunities to address many aspects of running mechanics specifically force application, the intensity found in the exercises are not sufficient to elicit the reflexes found in competition.
