Driving Around Iceland Day 6 Nýidalur to Mývatn F26 Sprengisandur Route Highlands

Dashcam footage from my 12 day trip to Iceland in July 2014. • Some key points in the video: • 00:20 - Leaving the Nýidalur hut • 25:15 - Aldeyjarfoss • 28:15 - End of the Sprengisandur Route (F26) • 34:30 - Goðafoss • 42:00 - Approaching the Lake Mývatn area • 45:55 - Grjótagjá cave • 47:55 - Námafjall • 49:03 - Jarðböðin - Mývatn Nature Baths • The footage is sped up 5x. The car was a Land Rover Defender. • While in Iceland I also used my DSLR camera to capture some of the beautiful and exotic landscapes.
