Guide for the first boss in Hollow's Heart - Brierbane. • Phases: Normal Mode 70%/30%. Hard Mode 90%/60/%/30% • Dark Decapitation: • Happens only if party DPS is low • After 3 attack rotations he roars and drops a dark AoE under him • Jumps to the farthest creates another dark AoE • Boss will charge back to the first dark AoE • Block him before he reaches. Do NOT block the boss on top of any dark AoE • He follows up with a room wide AoE (immune to CC's if he's standing in any dark AoE) • The follow up AoE will wipe on hard mode. • Phase Mechanics: • 1. Jumps and creates a shockwave when he lands (jump when he jumps as shockwaves are desynced) • 2. Marks 4 farthest players. The markers should align themselves to the shell • 3. Does a room wide 5 hit AoE (can be jumped or use party iframes) • 4. Boss fires death zones at each marker. Death zones cannot be iframed in hard mode. Hit order is based on far to close. We had people stand at 16m, 14m, 12m, and 10m • 5. It will attempt a room wide AoE. Must CC here. Fail to CC on hard mode = death • 6.
