The Sun Joewood chipper is great for chipping up small branches that you've pruned or have fallen from trees(up to 1.7 inches in diameter), but sometimes the pieces end up being more like wood chunks than wood chips. • I originally bought a gas powered wood chipper/shredder(Similar to this Landworks Mini Wood Chipper Shredder Mulcher Heavy Duty 7HP 212cc Compact Design 3 Inch Max Capacity https://amzn.to/3iopCFP ) that could handle 3 inch diameter branches, but ended up returning it after the UPS guy dropped it and broke it as he was delivering(I watched it all go down). After having to ship that unit back for a refund it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth so I decided to purchase something less expensive. • I only have a 1/3 of an acre so the Sun Joe wood chipper is sufficient for my needs and basic yard cleanup.
