Visit http://StirlingBuilder.com. This Stirling engine was built from plans in the book, Eleven Stirling Engine Projects You Can Build by Jim R. Larsen, available at the StirlingBuilder website. This is a real fun Stirling engine. It is air cooled, so it runs for a long time. I have had it running for up to two hours at a time. This is one of several engines I am hoping to include in my next book. This is the first time I have made a walking beam engine. I really like the way everything is well balanced. The crank mechanism is easy to make, and there are no complicated or expensive parts.
