White worms Scutariella japonica on neocaridina shrimp head

Look at my other shrimps here: http://www.shrimp-tank.com • On this video you can see parasites that live on a shrimps head. They are white flat worms are they are called Scutariella japonica. You can read about them online. These worms have a suction on one end and keep themselves attached to a shrimp head usually somewhere between the shrimp eyes. Another end of the worm is wiggling around and probably is trying to catch some food from the water. • I have cured my shrimps doing a quick salt bath. I used 1 table spoon of salt for 1 cup of water and was keeping each shrimps in salty water to 20-30 seconds. Worms are gone once I pull the shrimp back from the salt bath.
