Aqua gets a pretty epic fight for this world. You totally don't understand how big Gantu is until you actually fight him. I was pretty underleveled for this world, so it takes longer to beat Gantu than the previous fights. You get a little taste of how little damage you do with regular attacks at super low levels later on. • Overview • This fight isn't hard at all, sadly. In fact I think I No Damaged it in just a few tries. • Restrictions • No Damage • No D-Link • No Shotlock • Stats • Level: 13 • HP: 58/58 • Keyblade: Destiny's Embrace • Strength: 11 • Magic: 12 • Defense: 11 • Battle Commands: • Poison • Fission Firaga • Mine Square • Mine Square • Blizzara • Action Commands: • High Jump • Cartwheel • Barrier • Counter Blast • Payback Surge • Air Slide • Difficulty • 2/5 • Strategy • Gantu only has a few moves really, and they're all easy to avoid. He has a spinning shooting one. You can just dodge it any way you want, though Guard can reflect the shots back at him for small damage. He may also shoot at you directly about 4-5 times. Guard the last one back at him if you want small damage. • He has a dashing attack, this move is pretty dangerous. It's not safe to dodge with Cartwheel, but Guard blocks it just fine. His only other move is pretty much just an arm swipe move. Just dodge it. • Unlike Ven's story, in this fight if Stitch jumps up and down, go to him for a Command to stun Gantu and do damage. Also note that Gantu's only status effect weakness is to Poison. • FAQ • Q: What's CM? • A: Critical Mode, it's the hardest difficulty. You deal less damage, take more damage, get less HP, but start off with more Command Slots. • Q: Hey, at the end of some fights you don't have full HP! Doesn't that mean you got hit at some point? • A: Some boss fights give HP Bonus as a reward. This increases your HP instantly, and your HP does not fill up. It's easy to notice this just by simply re-watching the end of the fight. • Q: Why not LV1? • A: Don't feel like it. The LV1 fights in this game take much longer than in KH2FM, and most people probably don't want to watch fights that take 10+ minutes. Also, it's not as hard as in KH2FM because you can earn the Second Chance/Once More abilities at LV1 as well as all abilities, so it's almost identical to a low level CM run (what I'm doing), only that you deal much less damage at LV1 unlike in KH2FM. • Q: How come you sometimes don't get hit during moves. • A: Certain moves give you invincibility frames until they finish, such as Finish Commands and Shotlocks.
