After 3 months of having to stay away from our beloved fells we were finally let loose on 29th March. 1 day later and I was walking in one of the most staggeringly beautiful corners of the national park. • The lack of mountain walking due to covid restrictions really took its toll on my physical fitness so I decided to ease back in gently with this 10km circular walk, starting and ending in the hamlet of Hartsop. Never before have I seen Angle Tarn so quiet; it was a real treat. A wonderful day and a perfect reintroduction to mountain walking.
