Some tips, to practice correctly Xing Yi Quan, from Nei Jia master, NIU SHENG XIAN! • Master Niu Sheng Xian was born in Qinghe, of Hebei province, in China, in 1938. • He has been awarded the 8th level at the Chinese Martial Arts. • He has inherited the traditional knowledge of his family, and from a very early age, he was trained by his father Niu Jinbao, also known as Xuan Jinzi, in the Health Preservation Program of the Taoist Longmen Pai. • In 1951, Master Niu started to learn Taiji and the fighting techniques of General Yue Fei(Yue Shi San Shou) from Master Yang Fengxiang. • In 1959, he met Master Li Tian Ji, whom he followed until 1966. The next years, during the cultural revolution , Li Tian Ji stopped teaching. • Since 1975, Master Niu started studying, again, the arts of Xing Yi, Ba Gua, Taiji, Wudang Sword etc. with Master Li Tian Ji and he Baishi to him. • Master Niu stayed with his teacher, looking after him, until his death, in 1996.
