1st visit back to Southend Pier for over 6 years and a lot has changed • Southend Pier has had a change of train a few years ago with its last change being back in 1987 and these new ones despite their earlier issues when launched in 2022 • The modern trains which are BEMUs in short for Battery Electric Multiple Unit and are built by a company called SL Transportation Limited trading as Severn Lamb based in Alcester. • The modern day trains comprises of 6 cars with two trains however only one is allowed onto the pier at a time. • Filmed on Saturday September 28th 2024 on iPhone 15 Pro • #southend #southendonsea #southendpier #severnlamb #piertrain #train #trainspotting
