Echocardiogram in anterior wall myocardial infarction. • Description at: https://johnsonfrancis.org/profession... • Left panel shows M-Mode echocardiogram while the right panel shows two-dimensional echocardiogram in the parasternal long axis view showing right and left ventricles, aorta, left atrium, aortic and mitral valves. M-mode echo shows poor contractions of the interventricular septum. Parasternal long axis view showing hypokinesia or reduced contraction of the mid anteroseptal segment of left ventricular myocardium. This is due to anterior wall myocardial infarction.
