#sabela is a classic from the #sarafina #soundtrack album. It is a song that talks about #sellouts in the time of #apartheid in #southafrica, who were black people who sold other black people (activists against apartheid) to the white government. The song talks about how these sell-outs would make money (R100) from selling other black out and focuses on one in particular, Sabela, who has to pay the price for being a sell-out and thus being responsible for the deaths of various people in the black communities. A beautifully arranged song which remains one of the best #mbongeningema songs of all time.
