Russian thistles, better known as tumbleweeds, are broadleaf summer annual plants that break off their stems, creating hazards for many when they tumble down roads and highways. If you have Russian Thistle currently established on your property, then you must apply a post-emergent herbicide. If you have Russian Thistle growing on properties with cool-season grasses, we recommend 2,4-D Amine. If you have Russian Thistle growing on properties with warm-season grasses, we recommend Fahrenheit Herbicide. If Russian thistle is known to be a problem on your property, but it has yet to emerge from the soil, then we recommend you apply a pre-emergent herbicide that’s labeled to stop Russian thistle from growing. If you’re treating weeds in ornamental landscaping or non-crop areas, check out T/I 2.5 G Trifluralin Herbicide. This product is a selective pre-emergent herbicide that will prevent weeds from growing for up to 8 months. • • If you have any questions, call us at (713) 955-2000 • Thanks for watching! • #diypestcontrol #solutionspestandlawn #shorts
