Man Steals Liquor Truck To Pay Drug Debt

Beau Burchel of Gaston, Indiana was booked on several preliminary felony theft charges. Final charges will be decided by the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office. This comes after Burchel stole a box truck with over $12,000 worth of alcohol from Cheers Bar in Muncie, Indiana. Muncie Police soon after found Burchel hiding in a brush line near Meadow Farms, a mobile home park. Burchel told police that he intended to sell the liquor and beer from the truck to pay off his drug debt. The truck was hidden behind a Shriner’s club not too far from Meadow Farms along with a skid steer that was also stolen by Burchel.
