Trailer reaction to the preview trailer of the upcoming 2023 Hindi film Jawan starring Shahrukh Khan and directed by Atlee - by Melanie Greenberg on Pardesi Reviews. • Jawan (transl. Soldier) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action thriller film written and directed by Atlee, in his first Hindi film. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone (billed as a special appearance), Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. • Principal photography commenced in September 2021 with filming taking place in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad. Jawan was initially planned to release on 2 June 2023, but was postponed due to post-production needing more work.
