Powder Coating metal projects is a great way to protect them and make them look great, but the down side is once you've powdered coated the project, you can't make any changes or repairs with a welder. Ever since I started integrating Stud Welding into my workflow, I've had this nagging question of whether or not I could stud weld some Powder Coated steel without ruining the finish, so I figured I'd give it a try. It sorta worked and I'm sure the process could be perfected. • Please consider supporting the channel via affiliate commissions by purchasing the items used in the video (and just my favorite tools in the shop): • DeWalt FlexVolt Grinder Kit: https://amzn.to/2kyf7la and Flap Disks: https://amzn.to/2GXRTNW • IsoTunes BlueTooth Hearing Protection: https://amzn.to/2kw0xKJ • 3M Radio Headphones: http://amzn.to/2fDhWC4 • Thanks to TruWeld Stud Welding for Providing the TWI-321: http://bit.ly/TruWeld • For a sneak peek of projects to come, please join me at http://bit.ly/42FabInstagram • If you'd like to learn to weld, consider purchasing a Weld It Yourself kit from http://bit.ly/WeldItYourself
