Drugs, sexy, violence! • http://bit.ly/SubClevverNews - Subscribe Now! • / clevvernews - Like Us! • / clevvernews - Follow Us! • This new Lindsay Lohan flick The Canyons has been getting some SERIOUS buzz, and today, I'm pretty stoked to share it with you! • Penned by famed author Bret Easton Ellis, The Canyons is a gritty indie movie all about 20-somethings in modern-day Los Angeles, doing all sorts of risqué and controversial things! • (That's probably all you need to know from me, watch the trailer and we'll chat about it after!) • According to The Huffington post, the film centers on, the dangers of sexual obsession and ambition, both personally and professionally... one chance meeting connected to the past unravels all of their lives, resulting in deceit, paranoia, cruel mind games and, ultimately, violence. • Lilo stars as Tara, who they're describing as sweet as sin. • Meanwhile, opposite of Lilo is porn actor James Deen—he plays Christian, who's supposedly the boy next door gone bad! • You can also expect famed director Gus Van Sant to pop up in the film, only this time, he's acting! He'll be playing the role of Dr. Campbell. • (pick up) Now for those of you wondering why the trailer looks the way it does, movie officials are saying it's intentional, and the trailer is supposed to resemble what thriller movie trailers looked like in the 1970's. • There's no release date for the film quite yet, but I've got some good news to hold you over! • Look out for 2 more teasers to hit the web soon—one that looks like a 1950's melodrama and one that looks like a 1930's comedy. • So what do you think of Lindsay Lohan starring in this kind of film?
