This kind of conception is antiquated. It's origins are in the epoch of materialism. Everything consists of information, probabilities and meanings. Energy is therefore something like the human language, the information is transported through the air, through electro-chemicals signals, but the meaning is nothing material. • So space is information too. It exists to make sure that with certain probabilities events on microcosmic and macrocosmic levels can occur. • In a certain way, if we consider the Casimir effect, space is also a measurement apparatus, a platform for communication.
