https://www.globalgilson.com/pocket-g... • The Gilson HM-502 Pocket Geotester dial penetrometer set is an ideal tool for on-site estimating on-site estimations of the unconfined compressive strength of soils (When used with the standard 1/4in dia. penetration plunger). • The Pocket Geotester comes with five plungers with 1/4in, 10, 15, 20 and 25mm diameters to test a wide range of cohesive soil types. • The Geotester’s piston is pressed into the soil to the calibration notch and the maximum force value is retained on the dial to estimate unconfined compressive soil strength. • The inner scale is 0-6.0 x 0.1 divisions in tsf or kg/cm². • The outer scale gives total force over 0—11kg range x 0.1kg divisions. • The rugged Pocket Geotester features non-corrosive stainless-steel contact parts and has a large 2.5in (63mm) dial. The penetrometer is user-calibrated using a laboratory scale or balance with 10 to 15 lb capacity. • The Pocket Geotester penetrometer comes with five stainless-steel plungers, instructions, data tables, register plates and a hard plastic carrying case to make the Gilson HM-502 Pocket Geotester dial penetrometer set the right choice for your materials testing lab. • For more information go to https://www.globalgilson.com/pocket-g... • • • • • Using a penetrometer to detect soil compaction \\ Using a Pocket Penetrometer \\ Soil Penetrometer \\ What is a soil penetrometer \\ How do you use a penetrometer \\ What does a pocket penetrometer do \\ How do I know if my soil is compacted \\ Diagnosing Soil Compaction Using a Penetrometer \\ Soil Compaction Tester : Soil Penetrometer \\ soil penetrometer uk \\ penetrometer soil test procedure \\ soil penetrometer data \\ penetrometer for construction \\ soil compaction \\ penetrometer principle \\ penetrometer test \\ dynamic cone penetrometer
