Here, I have discussed an important concept i.e. oxidation of fluorine substituted benzene derivative which ultimately results in the CF3COOH. Furthermore, electrochemical technique also used for the preparation of this chemical and in presence of high voltage the C-F bond survives but the C-H bond got oxidized. I believe such kinds of discussion may be useful for exams like BS-MS, B.Sc, M.Sc, CSIR-NET, GATE, IIT-JAM, BARC, BHU, DU, SET, etc., or bachelor and master degree equivalent exams in chemistry.
