But the beauty and power of words allow the insightful lyrics to apply to us. And they're perfect - with just one modification: It's no longer 'someday we'll find it' - WE FOUND IT already, folks. And we have the internet and YouTube to thank for. Some I don't know personally and am just a loyal fan; some have become friends. Many are no longer here, but that doesn't diminish their impact on our community, and on many of us. Wherever you are, ladies, please know that you are always in my heart. The fire you lit in me is still on, and I'll do my best to keep it going. • I never meant to undertake this task of 'trying to make a statement on behalf of the lesbians.' Not everything I said reflects what the lesbians feel. I do NOT speak for all of us and only speak for myself. I was tired of virtual abuses in the form of hate speech that appeared on our videos and decided to voice out to them to leave us alone. We simply make videos for the enjoyment of our friends and ourselves, but somehow we have unintentionally become targets of hate. We get drawn into some sexual orientation war, of which we never want to be a part. None of us have political aspiration (that I know of), and each of us has her own 'religious' beliefs. We have NO agenda. We only fight for what is rightfully ours. One thing for sure, we NEVER mean to offend anyone. It's the others who take or 'claim' offense upon themselves. None of our ladies have ever offended anyone. They are true and absolute ladies to the definition of the word, and they choose to ignore/forgive haters. I, a bad-tempered volatile person, am not as gracious and regal as my friends, so I get back (via protest videos) at the haters who publicly express their ridiculous/unjustifiable/unreasonable/uncalled-for hate toward us. Having to endure verbal abuses all my life, I can/will no longer take hate speech from total strangers. • In any rate, we are here and alive - just like those who existed before us, and we will be here for those who will eventually take our place and continue our journey. So here's to you, sisters and brothers.
