Ercp procedure video in hindi - This lecture explains about the Ercp procedure in hindi. Ercp is a procedure performed to remove any gall bladder stone that is present in the hepatic duct or in hepatobiliary duct. The gallbladder stone can be removed using endoscopic methods. It is done using general anesthesia and the endoscope is used to insert it through the mouth and dissecting a valve to remove the stone. • Ercp procedure is very essential when a person is suffering from obstructive jaundice. Due to the blocked hepatic duct, enzymes and bile salts from gall bladder failed to be released in duodenum. This results in elevated levels of sgpt, sgot in the patient. Ercp procedure can help cure the obstructive jaundice and cure the associated pain. It is usually followed by gall bladder removal surgery.
