Impressive bass for such small drivers! Refreshingly spacious and natural sounding! I like these more than HD600 in many ways. The problem is poor background blackness/fog, which hides a lot of detail. I don't think these are the best choice for complex material, also. A very solid headphone for ~$650, which you don't find often.
