The Arduino IDE is a great environment for writing programs (sketches) for the Arduino environment. There are also a large amount of pre-written libraries. There is now a project on Github that provides the ability to compile Arduino sketches using the Arduino IDE such that they can run on the Raspberry Pi. This video illustrates how to install and configure that environment. • The forum thread that discusses this video and project in detail can be found here: • https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/vi... • Companion videos: • Raspberry Pi: Arduino IDE writing binaries to remote Pi filesystem - • Raspberry Pi: Arduino IDE writing bin... • • Arduino IDE download - https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software • Raspberry Pi tool-chain for windows - http://gnutoolchains.com/raspberry/ • Github for PiDuino - https://github.com/me-no-dev/RasPiArd... • FREE Raspberry Pi book - https://leanpub.com/pi
