In this video, I set out to create the ultimate sparrowhawk photography setup—and I can’t believe it actually worked! Using a carefully crafted perch and some clever techniques, I was able to attract a sparrowhawk and capture stunning images of this incredible bird of prey. • Here’s how it worked: I built a horizontal perch, hung feeders off it, and added a latticework of branches below to provide cover for smaller birds. The idea was to naturally lure in a sparrowhawk as it hunted the birds hiding in the sticks below. After some patience and fine-tuning, the results were beyond my expectations! • For this shoot, I used the following gear: • 📸 Sony A1 camera body • 📸 Sony 400mm F2.8 GM lens • 🎥 Pocket Osmo 3 by DJI for behind-the-scenes shots • 💾 CF cards by Delkin Devices • Whether you’re a wildlife photography enthusiast or just curious about how to capture stunning shots of birds of prey, this video will take you through the setup, the process, and the magic of seeing it all come together. • If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more wildlife photography content.
