3 ways you’re making your hip flexor tightness worse

Here are 3 things you are doing that could be making your hip flexor more mad. • 1. Sitting. Sitting is not bad, BUT if you notice your symptoms come on more with sitting, break it up. Stand more if able, or get up from your desk and move every 30 minutes. • 2. The problem may not be the hip flexor. The majority of the time, the hip flexor issues are the SYMPTOM, not the sole CAUSE. Be sure that you see a PT that can rule out the lumbar spine, hip joint itself, pelvic floor, or other issues like inguinal hernias. • 3. You are doing too much to try to fix the problem, and it's actually making things worse! I have seen a fair share of people blame the hip flexor and try to release it through laying over Amazon tools. Just stop.
