Moisture meters can be a great tool for new plant parents. Note that your plants should always reach a certain level of dryness before you water them.⠀ • ⠀ • If you're using a meter for succulents, stick it all the way down and make sure it's showing dry before watering. For most of my succulents, fiddle leaf figs, string of pearls...I wait for level 1 before watering.⠀ • ⠀ • If you're using a meter for tropicals, you will want the meter to show moist (levels between 4 and 6) before watering.
